Become a H.U.G.S. Support Volunteer

Do you remember the first person who told you that were “not alone” in having lost a child to adoption? I bet you do!

None of us forget those who have “been there” to guide us, mentor us, offer a shoulder to lean on – or even cry on. Some of our best and most enduring friendships were formed that way.

We are now offering you an opportunity to GIVE BACK and be that one-on-one support person for someone else! Be the voice on the phone or the response to an email that says: “You’re not alone!” Whether you are the first other mother they have spoken to or they’ve been involved for years and are looking for a new source of support.

We are seeking member volunteers who are

• committed to our mission of promoting mothers' rights and keeping natural families together, and
• are willing to post their name, email address and phone number on our webpage as a HUG volunteer to receive calls from your local area for those needing some emotional support.

The “job” requires no special skills but it is very important and the rewards are HUGE! Those selected will be the frontline representatives of Origins-USA.
